Last updated: 20 November 2025

Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Yunite (the “Community”), an online consumer-insights panel operated by Potloc Inc. (“Potloc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Canadian corporation headquartered at 5420 Saint-Laurent St, Montréal, QC H2T 1S1, Canada.

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of:

  • the Yunite website at https://yunite.io and any Yunite mobile applications (collectively, the “Site”); and
  • all related surveys, rewards, and services we provide (together with the Site, the “Services”).

By accessing, browsing, registering for an account, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by (i) these Terms; (ii) the Yunite Privacy Notice; (iii) Potloc’s Corporate Privacy Policy; and (iv) any guidelines or rules posted on the Site (collectively, the “Rules”).

If you do not accept the Terms, do not use the Services.

We may update the Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app message at least 30 days before updates take effect.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You may only maintain one Yunite account.
  • You must not reside in jurisdictions where participation is prohibited.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate information. By registering, you authorize Yunite to verify your identity and information using publicly available data, third-party data enrichment tools, and fraud-prevention services.

Your Account & Activity Requirements

Active Status

You are considered active if you:

  • Start a survey from an email invitation; or
  • Start a survey directly on Yunite; or
  • Log into your Yunite account.

Inactivity & Expiry

If your account is inactive for six (6) consecutive months, your reward balance automatically expires.

If inactivity continues, your account may be deleted.

Rewards, Balances & Redemption

Nature of Your Balance

Your Yunite balance represents the monetary value of rewards earned, but:

  • It is not cash until redeemed;
  • It is not a bank account or stored-value product;
  • It does not accrue interest;
  • It has no monetary reality outside the platform until payout is completed.

Redeeming Your Balance

You may redeem rewards once you reach the minimum threshold displayed on your Yunite account page.

Redemptions:

  • must be initiated via your account dashboard;
  • require email verification;
  • are fulfilled via a third-party provider responsible for processing and fulfilling your incentive payouts;
  • must comply with local payout availability.

Balance Disputes

You must submit any dispute within 60 days of the transaction in question. After that period, balances are deemed correct.

Fraud Prevention & Account Blocking

We use manual and automated systems — including a third-party fraud-prevention and device-verification provider — to ensure respondent authenticity and maintain platform integrity.

You may be blocked without notice for:

  • Providing untruthful, inconsistent, or misleading answers;
  • Using VPNs, proxies, or identity-masking tools;
  • Using bots, emulators, or automated tools;
  • Creating or attempting multiple accounts;
  • Using ad blockers to bypass verification;
  • Any behavior intended to manipulate surveys or rewards.

All balances are forfeited if your account is blocked for fraud.

Acceptable Use

  • You must not scrape, tamper with, or misuse Yunite systems.
  • You must not share confidential survey content.
  • You must not attempt to manipulate survey outcomes.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Unredeemed balances are forfeited upon account deletion.

We may terminate accounts for:

  • Inactivity;
  • Fraud or attempted fraud;
  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Suspicious or abusive behavior.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Yunite is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee survey availability, earnings, or uninterrupted access.

To the extent permitted by law, Potloc’s maximum liability is limited to the value of rewards paid to you in the preceding 12 months.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada, unless mandatory local laws apply.
